We are pleased to announce the exhibition of the painting "Victorian in San Francisco" by Kolya, an adult client at the Morgan Autism Center (MAC), at the Willow Glen Library, where it will be displayed for the next ten weeks. This artwork, acquired at the MAC Starry Night Gala fundraiser, not only captivated us with its detail but also impressed us due to Kolya's remarkable achievement of creating it without his hands. Kolya's painting captures his deep admiration for architecture, blending the intricate details of a historic Victorian house with the vibrant energy of San Francisco. Through his art, Kolya expresses his passion for design and his dream of exploring architectural wonders around the world.
Wanting to spread awareness of Kolya’s talents and the unique powers of autism, the Little Grass Foundation decided to collaborate with the Willow Glen Library, a place regularly visited by MAC students, to display the painting to the general population. With the help of the library staff, we have secured a spot for this painting so that anyone who is in the library to read books can also learn more about the community with autism, offering the MAC students and all visitors a daily dose of inspiration and education.
